Ashley Armitage graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Telecommunication Production. Aspiring to direct feature films, I began training in the camera department on the HBO Mini Series "From the Earth to the Moon" in Orlando, Florida.

During my training in the camera department, I was taught film exposure and the five C's of cinematography: composition, camera angles, close-ups, continuity, and cutting. As a photojournalist, every frame tells a story.
