Getting Married in the Virgin Islands

You can apply for a marriage license via mail, by phone or by visiting the Territorial courts on one of the Virgin islands. There is a $25 fee for the application and a $35 fee for the license. There is an eight day waiting period after the territorial clerk receives the application.

A USVI justice of the Territorial Court can perform the wedding ceremony at the court for $200. Clergy will officiate the ceremony in a local church.
